What to do After Registering:

The course will begin on January 18, after which the first week of course material will be released for registered students. After you register, please do the following:

1. Email me: By January 15, 2010, send me an email with MMSP-130 and your name on the subject line. After you email me, I will send you information about how to access the online class site. Instructions for the first week will be available after Monday, January 18.
2. Attend the Orientation: There will be a face-to-face orientation for this class on Tuesday, January 19 from 6:30-8:00 PM in ARTX 264 on the Ocean Campus. I highly recommend that you come to this orientation if you haven’t taken an online course at City College before. I will drop any students who have not emailed me or come to the orientation.
3. Textbook and Software: Obtain a copy of the textbook and access to the software. I will be using Adobe CS4 to teach the class, but you should be fine with Adobe CS3. Textbook and software information can be found on the Syllabus page linked above.
4. Insight at CCSF: City College uses Insight.ccsf.edu, an interactive courseware for online courses. Go to that site for more information about your log on and passwords for this class.
